This weekend the weather was beautiful.  After many rainy days this week, Sophie enjoyed soaking up the sun on the deck:

There I was, laying on the bed today waiting for those special words ("ride," "town," or "truck"), when instead I heard, "Sophie, do you want a bath?"  My humans don't think I know what they are saying when they ask this, but I do.  As soon as they asked, I flopped over on my back and became limp.  I figured they would look at my furry white belly and say, "Okay, you win.  We give up."  That was not the case. Here I am taking a bath.  At first it wasn't so bad:

Sophie stole a drink out of the cooler. 

Clearly she was trying to tell us she needed rehydrating?

As mentioned in a previous blog, Sophie will often times lay in her bed staring at us while we sit on the couch.  There are times, however that she surrenders.

See Sophie?  That dog bed isn't so bad after all.... 

In the evenings when we are relaxing on the couch, we get a feeling someone else would really like to have the couch to herself:

Yep, she lays in her bed (as you can see, she has two) across the room and stares at us in an attempt to guilt us into moving off the couch so she can have it... The Golden life!

After many rainy, gloomy days, we had a break and saw the sun today.  We decided to take Sophie to the pumpkin patch.
